The Aboriginal Language Interpreting Service (ALIS) offers in-person and phone interpreting services to help you connect with Aboriginal people and communities in a range of settings.

ALIS employs highly trained and qualified Aboriginal language interpreters from South Australia to ensure interpretation is performed with context and empathy while maintaining the accuracy of the message.

Our interpreters speak languages such as:

  • Alyawarr
  • Anmatyerr
  • Arrernte (all dialects)
  • Pitjantjatjara
  • Warlpiri
  • Yankunytjatjara.

If you require interpreting for a language that is not listed we can connect you with a service that can help.
