About us
The Interpreting and Translating Centre (ITC) employs skilled translators and interpreters for many languages spoken in South Australia. We are a South Australian Government agency — part of the Department of Human Services.
We offer high-quality, confidential interpreting and translating services in over 100 languages and dialects. Each year, we handle about 70,000 assignments for various private and business clients from diverse backgrounds.
We are a best practice service provider. We support the professional standards of NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) and work with AUSIT (Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators).
Founded in 1975, ITC is the second oldest government interpreting and translating agency in Australia.
Diversity and Inclusion Statement

We are committed to making our services and workplaces safe and inclusive for all people and ensuring the full diversity of the communities we serve are represented in the strategies we lead.
